- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 1 large head Green Cabbage, chopped into 1-inch squares
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 cup Cottage Cheese
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped cabbage for 10–12 minutes until soft, then drain excess liquid.
- In another skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned; drain excess fat.
- In a blender, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, garlic powder, and onion powder; blend until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked cabbage and beef mixture. Stir in the creamy sauce and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until well mixed.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle remaining cheddar on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
