Ingredients
- 4 large tomatoes
- 4 tomatillos
- 1 white onion
- 2 jalapenos
- 2 cayenne peppers (or similar)
- 1 lemon drop pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- Sea salt
- Fajita seasoning
- 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or smoker to 225 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Wash and cut all vegetables in half.
- On a sheet pan, arrange the halved vegetables and sprinkle with sea salt and fajita seasoning.
- Smoke the vegetables on the grill for approximately 2 hours until they are tender.
- Let them cool briefly, then transfer to a food processor along with the sugar.
- Blend until you reach your desired consistency.
- Store in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 6 days or freeze for later use.
