  • 2 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • Kosher salt (to taste)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
  • Green onions (thinly sliced, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise; season with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
  3. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown; remove from pan.
  4. In the same pan, melt remaining butter; sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add soy sauce and rice vinegar; deglaze the pan and stir in honey. Simmer until thickened.
  6. Return chicken to the pan to warm through in the sauce.
