- 2 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 110 g (1/3 cup) honey
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) chicken stock
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, coat chicken thighs with cornflour, salt, and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan over high heat.
- Cook the chicken for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown; flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add unsalted butter and minced garlic to the pan; reduce heat to medium.
- In a separate bowl, mix honey, chicken stock, rice vinegar, and soy sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken; bring to a boil then simmer for 4-5 minutes until thickened.
- Garnish with parsley and chili flakes before serving over boiled rice.
