Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • â…“ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken and sear for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from heat but keep the chicken in the skillet.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine ⅓ cup honey, 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, and 1 tablespoon butter. Stir until melted and smooth. Let it simmer for about 1–2 minutes to infuse flavors before removing from heat.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine feta cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, dried oregano, and olive oil. Mix until creamy.
  5. Pour half of the hot honey sauce over the seared chicken to coat it evenly. Transfer the skillet into your preheated oven and bake for about 15–18 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature should reach at least 165°F/75°C).
  6. Remove from oven. Immediately dollop feta sauce over each piece of chicken while warm; this will melt the feta slightly for added creaminess.
  7. Drizzle any remaining hot honey sauce over each piece of chicken to enhance sweetness and spice.
  8. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top along with additional red pepper flakes if you desire more heat. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra citrusy finish.
