  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar, garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350º F.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Chill the dough.
  4. Toss berries with sugar, flour, salt, and lemon juice in a large bowl.
  5. Pour berry mixture into a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, then top with cookie dough and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for an additional 18-20 minutes.
  6. Allow cooling for about 15 minutes before serving.
