  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
  • 40 Hershey's Kisses (chilled)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in peanut butter until well combined, then add the egg and vanilla.
  4. Gradually incorporate flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  5. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar before placing on baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes; the edges should be set while centers remain slightly soft.
  7. Immediately press a chilled chocolate kiss on top of each cookie after removing from the oven.
  8. Allow to cool on the pan for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
