Ingredients
- 8 roma tomatoes
- 2 jalapeños
- 1–2 Serrano peppers
- 1/2 medium yellow onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup cilantro (roughly chopped)
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your broiler to 500°F.
- Place roma tomatoes, jalapeños, Serrano peppers, yellow onion, and garlic cloves on a large baking pan.
- Broil the vegetables for about 10-15 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes until their skins split or blacken slightly.
