  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1/2 zucchini, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup steamed white rice

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, and mincing garlic.
  2. In a skillet, heat sesame oil and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds before adding ground beef. Cook until browned.
  3. Add soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar to the beef mixture; simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  4. In another pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic before adding mushrooms; cook until soft.
  5. Add broccoli, zucchini, and bell pepper to the pan; stir-fry for about 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Serve hot steamed rice topped with beef and sautéed veggies.
