Ingredients
- 6 oz strawberry Jell-O mix
- 2 cups boiling water
- 16 oz strawberries (hulled & sliced)
- 2 ½ cups salted pretzels
- ¾ cup unsalted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
Instructions
- Prepare the Jell-O layer by dissolving the strawberry Jell-O mix in boiling water and mixing in sliced strawberries. Refrigerate until slightly thickened (about 30 minutes).
- For the crust, crush pretzels and mix with melted unsalted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Blend softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and half of the Cool Whip until smooth; spread over the crust.
- Pour the thickened Jell-O mixture over the cream cheese layer and top with remaining Cool Whip.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.
