  • 6 oz strawberry Jell-O mix
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 16 oz strawberries (hulled & sliced)
  • 2 ½ cups salted pretzels
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Jell-O layer by dissolving the strawberry Jell-O mix in boiling water and mixing in sliced strawberries. Refrigerate until slightly thickened (about 30 minutes).
  2. For the crust, crush pretzels and mix with melted unsalted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Blend softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and half of the Cool Whip until smooth; spread over the crust.
  4. Pour the thickened Jell-O mixture over the cream cheese layer and top with remaining Cool Whip.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.
