- 2 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 cup Vegetable Oil
- ¾ cup Chili Sauce
- ¾ cup Chicken Stock
- ½ cup Sugar
- ½ cup White Vinegar
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- ¼ teaspoon Red Chili Flakes
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- Toasted Sesame Seeds for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Cut beef into 1-inch cubes and coat with cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Fry the coated beef until golden brown on all sides; drain on paper towels.
- In a separate bowl, mix chili sauce, chicken stock, sugar, white vinegar, garlic, and red chili flakes.
- Pour the sauce over fried beef and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
- Thicken the sauce by mixing cornstarch with water; add to pan while stirring until smooth.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
