  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 1 medium carrot (diced)
  • 1 medium red pepper (diced)
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 24 oz pasta sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Traeger Grill to 225°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, onion, carrot, red pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form mixture into round meatballs (about 3 inches) and place on a sheet pan.
  4. Smoke meatballs on the grill for one hour at 225°F.
  5. In a baking dish, add half of the pasta sauce at the bottom and place smoked meatballs on top. Pour remaining sauce over them.
  6. Increase the grill temperature to 325°F and smoke for an additional 45 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
