Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 large eggs
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 1 medium carrot (diced)
- 1 medium red pepper (diced)
- 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
- 1.5 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 24 oz pasta sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your Traeger Grill to 225°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, onion, carrot, red pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Form mixture into round meatballs (about 3 inches) and place on a sheet pan.
- Smoke meatballs on the grill for one hour at 225°F.
- In a baking dish, add half of the pasta sauce at the bottom and place smoked meatballs on top. Pour remaining sauce over them.
- Increase the grill temperature to 325°F and smoke for an additional 45 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
