  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 eggs (whisked)
  • ½ cup Italian Panko bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup yellow onion (chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your electric smoker to 325°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, whisked eggs, Panko breadcrumbs, milk, seasoned salt, garlic powder, chopped onion, black pepper, and shredded cheddar cheese until well mixed. Shape into a loaf.
  3. Place the meatloaf in the smoker and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (about 1.5 hours).
  4. While smoking, mix BBQ sauce ingredients in a separate bowl.
  5. Brush the meatloaf with BBQ sauce about 30 minutes before it's done cooking.
  6. Remove from smoker when fully cooked, slice, and serve warm.
