  • 4 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 whole lemon (thinly sliced)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (cut into thin pats)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a large piece of aluminum foil (20"x20") and place the salmon skin side down.
  2. Season the salmon with salt, pepper, and thyme. Top with green onions, garlic, and lemon zest.
  3. Layer lemon slices over the fish and add pats of butter.
  4. Seal the foil tightly around the salmon and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375ËšF to 425ËšF).
  6. Grill the sealed packet for about 18 minutes.
  7. Check for doneness using an instant-read thermometer; it should read at least 145ËšF.
  8. Let it rest for 5 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
