Description

Reuben Sliders are a delightful twist on the traditional Reuben sandwich, perfect for any gathering or casual meal. These mini sandwiches feature layers of savory corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, and melted Swiss cheese, all nestled in soft Hawaiian rolls. Ingredients

  • 14 ounces canned sauerkraut
  • 2 tablespoons Russian dressing (or Thousand Island)
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 pound deli corned beef (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 & 1/2 tablespoons dried onion soup mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Drain the sauerkraut and squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. In a bowl, combine drained sauerkraut with dressing and optional caraway seeds. Set aside.
  3. Cut Hawaiian rolls in half and arrange the bottoms in a baking dish. Layer with Swiss cheese, corned beef, sauerkraut mixture, and top with more Swiss cheese.
  4. Mix melted butter, onion soup mix, and poppy seeds; brush over the tops of the sliders.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with extra dressing on the side.
