Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe peaches (divided)
  • 68 regular-size black tea bags
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1/21 cup granulated sugar (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 6 cups cold water
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Freeze peach wedges from two peaches on a lined baking sheet for at least 4 hours.
  2. Brew tea by steeping tea bags in boiling water for 10 minutes, then remove and discard them.
  3. Sweeten the hot tea with sugar until dissolved and let cool slightly.
  4. Blend the remaining two peeled peaches with lemon juice until smooth; strain through a fine sieve to remove pulp.
  5. In a pitcher, mix the strained peach juice, brewed tea, cold water, and optional baking soda.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator until cold.
  7. Serve over ice with frozen peach wedges for garnish.
