  • 4 boneless beef chops
  • 6 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle on high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix together all ingredients for the blackened seasoning.
  3. Pat the beef chops dry with paper towels and brush one side with melted butter.
  4. Generously sprinkle the seasoning on the buttered side, flip, and repeat.
  5. Melt remaining butter on the griddle and place seasoned chops down.
  6. Sear for about 4-5 minutes until charred, then flip and cook another 4-5 minutes.
  7. Lower heat to medium, cover with a dome lid, and cook until internal temperature reaches 145°F (about 5-6 minutes).
